Ghostly
I decided to get an infrared filter to experiment. For those of you that don't know what I'm talking about, you can go to this photo. I got a Hoya R72 filter, that is one of the most popular near-infrared filter out there, and it's not too expensive. It's quite interesting how there's a whole different range of light we can't see, and how eventhough with the filter I see nothing through the viewfinder, the camera still captures an image like this. The ghostly effect was done by turning the zoom ring back and forth a few times while the shutter was open and I think it looks pretty cool. More experiments to come...
This photo was taken on August 25, 2007 @ 03:13pm in Atlanta, Georgia, United States with a Canon EOS 30D: Aperture value of f/5, shutter speed of 13 sec (13), focal length of 24 mm and an ISO value of 100. It was published on August 25, 2007 @ 07:14pm.

Estan interesantes tus experimentos. Me gusta el efecto de movimiento que le diste. Lo que podeis de repente probar es poniendola un poco menos exposed pa que se vea mas misteriosa.De verdad que el edificio ta un poco harry potter-ish. Saludos!

Mike, thanks dude, you're welcome to try it with my filter if you want.
Ve, que perdida que andas! :) gracias por el comentario!
Paul, gracias loco, en verdad que el edificio parece sacado de Harry Potter jeje... Me gusta tu idea de ponerla mas oscura para ver q tal se ve, voy a ver.
Alejandra, gracias!
Gracias Marco, sigo experimentando por aqui =)
Tim, thanks! you should really try it, it's a lot of fun. About the 40D, it's VERY nice, but I'm going to hold on to my 30D for at least another model, I may upgrade when there's a 50D or so, I'm still happy with mine... although sometimes I wish it had the new LiveView stuff hehe

Tor, thank you, and yes the zoom you should try one of these days, maybe some combination of panning/zooming would be interesting (if possible).
Gracias prima!
Rufo, sigo explorando y reportando por aquí. Que bueno crear asignaturas :)
